Restoring Files From Backup

I am trying to restore all my client data from a 3.5 diskette backup. When I go into the file option and click on "Restore".. it asks where I want the backup to go and also says you need to display what your backup file is..next it asks where you want the restore to go to. The three items shown are C:/ - AK18 - and AKProgram. I've restored to both and still no clients are showing up in my "Client Pop-up Listing"???? Any help will be most appreciated.
P.S. I did display the backup files and selected "Restore". The screen said the restore was completed. Still... no clients are showing up. I can explore the AKDATA folder and my backup/restore files are there.. but I can't access them in the program

The file listing is not automatically updated when you restore a file. You can use the SELECT button on the toolbar (the magnifying glass icon) to select the file you restored. Then when you click the OPEN button, you will be prompted to add the file to the list.

Alternatively, you can update the file listing by bringing it up with the OPEN button. Then click the REFRESH button on the toolbar (the icon with 2 arrows) and run the 'Full Refresh'. This will allow you to add any new files to the list from your data folder.
