Projected depreciation

Projected depreciation

New postby nloney on Wed Jun 03, 2009 5:54 pm

I am using units of production depreciation method for several assets.
I can override current year depreciation.

How do I override next year's depeciation?

Sir, Next Year's Depreciation cannot be overridden. That field is calculated based on the method and amount you are taking in the current year.

Since you are overriding current, you could enter the parameters for UOP so that Next Year's is calculated as you like. It won't affect the current year as you are overriding anyway.

Thanks

When using the UOP method in Asset Keeper the life of the asset is used as a percentage, which is then multiplied by the cost.

Thanks
