Parent Child Link

Does Asset Keeper allow for a parent child relationship? For example, the original asset is entered for $900, but then we step up the value of the original asset by $100 to $1,000. We would want the two assets to be depreciated separately, but we would want them tracked together because they are the same asset, such that when/if we dispose of an asset we can dispose of both of them at the same time.

If you need to keep them depreciating as separate line items, then there is no way to link the two assets together. You will have to dispose of both items separately as well, or combine them into a single asset before you do the disposal.
