| I am attempting to print a tax preference report to Excel so I can subtotal the data by property. However, AK will only let me print the report to a PDF file. What am I doing wrong? :?: |

The tax preference report only allows the PDF option. Even if Excel was available there, it would not work for what you are trying to do. Unfortunately, the Print to File option for Excel will format the data and align the columns in such a way that it is unusable for new grouping and subtotaling.
However, we do have an Export feature that will put your data in a spreadsheet so that it can be manipulated. You can export the data through Options in the File menu and choose Excel as the File type. In the case of the Tax Preference report, you would probably have to enter some formulas to match our calculated columns on the report.
If you are just looking for subtotals, it may be easier to simply mark the Range Selection option and print a separate report for each property. _________________ Pro-Ware Technical Support |
